Reimaging = pulling from (shoe) racks. Risky during embargo.

The embargo is due to desktop release feel free to tackle this as it cannot affect the release.

As presently defined, embargoes are not specific to release vs. build, or one product vs. another. If we are under embargo, we are not to touch any releng systems.

Pulling from shoe racks is not particularly risky for the n900s, as if you pull the wrong one, they're battery powered and in effect have a personal UPS. However, if you continue and pull the battery from an n900 in production, tree redness could result. I recommend pulling these from the racks before an embargo so work can continue during an embargo. Putting n900s back into the racks is extremely low risk since surrounding n900s are on battery. The first shoe rack has some wall-powered n900s, so those n900s can be left off the rack by: a) pull n900 before embargo b) reimage at any point, regardless of embargo c) place n900 back in shoe rack at any point unless it's in the first rack d) if it's in the first rack, pull the battery after initialization and put it back after the embargo is lifted.

Aki- you've sold me on this one for the N900s with batteries, and Spencer should be working on these this afternoon.
