User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b13pre) Gecko/20110301 Firefox/4.0b13pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b13pre) Gecko/20110301 Firefox/4.0b13pre I see my other bookmarks synced from windows to linux. But the bugzilla bookmarks having live titles are not there. Reproducible: Always
Component: Bookmarks & History → Firefox Sync: Backend
Product: Firefox → Mozilla Services
QA Contact: bookmarks → sync-backend
I just found out that those bookmarks were removed from my sync storage online and therefore I lost them from my windows installation as well.
If you're running 3.6 with the add-on on either machine, please save the contents of about:sync-log and attach here (by default it shouldn't have much in the way of identifiable info, but feel free to scan/redact any details). If something caused bookmarks to be deleted on one machine, that would propagate across all machines fairly quickly, but you can also restore from a backup and have that automatically apply to all machines. (Organize Bookmarks -> Import & Backup -> Restore -> pick a date)
I see this with Firefox 4 on both machines.
There shouldn't be any problem with microsummaries, but logs would be really helpful here. Could you please: Go to about:config Set services.sync.log.appender.debugLog.enabled to boolean true Set services.sync.log.appender.debugLog.rotate to boolean false Set services.sync.log.logger.engine.bookmarks to the string "Trace" (case matters!) Restart Firefox Create a new Bugzilla bookmark with Live Title, as you describe Tools > Sync Now _Attach_ the contents of about:sync-log as a file. Thanks!
tracy, you confirm this?
Was happening perhaps due to version difference.
