Always starts in safe mode and a dialog box appears and asks to check boxes of things to be reset or continue in safe mode. If you select something and continue it will work but return to safe mode next time you launch the browser

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start firefox
2.select item to reset
3.select continue
Actual Results:  
firefox runs but returns to safe mode next time it is launched

Expected Results:  
Firefix runs in normal mode

Firefox only starts in the safemode if you start it with --safe-mode
It will never start in the safemode without this commandline parameter or the shift key with Firefox4.

Does this happen with Firefox 4? did you verify that the conditions in comment 1 don't exist?
