(Whiteboard: [CLOSEME 2011-05-17])
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0b12) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b12
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:2.0b12) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0b12
while using fullscreen, leaving private browsing and then leaving fullscreen mode causes firefox's tab bar to be mostly hidden
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. resize the firefox window so that it doesn't touch the edge of the screen
2. open up a bunch of new tabs (blank ones are fine)
3. start private browsing
4. enter fullscreen mode
5. open up a bunch of new tabs (blank ones are fine)
6. exit private browsing using CMD+SHIFT+P
**note that at this point firefox should still be in fullscreen mode (but isn't)
7. try to exit this "fullscreen" mode by clicking the fullscreen arrows in the top right corner
Actual Results:
firefox's tab bar becomes mostly hidden
Expected Results:
firefox's tab bar should not become hidden
steps were reproduced in safe mode

Could you see if the issue occurs using the latest nightly:
http://nightly.mozilla.org/
Does this happen with 3.6.x?
tested with both versions, and they both do the same thing.
here is another video of it in action

Both versions? By that do you mean 3.6.x?
yes, I tested it with the latest nightly build from the link you gave, and I tested it with 3.6.14, and both have the same bug

Reporter, please can you confirm whether this issue still occurs using Firefox 4.0.1 (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/new/) or higher, in Firefox safe mode (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode) and/or with a clean profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile). Ideally, also check using the latest nightly: http://nightly.mozilla.org/
If this issue no longer occurs, please close as "Resolved Worksforme".
It it in fact still occurs, please provide as much extra information as possible, including what versions tried, whether safe mode/new profile tested etc. Thanks! :-)
(Template reply to inactive UNCO bugs; also setting closemedate for 2 weeks time, given lack of activity).

WFM using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:6.0a1) Gecko/20110524 Firefox/6.0a1. (After step 6, Firefox is in fullscreen mode still and the buttons work to exit).
Please reopen using the status dropdown at the bottom of the page/comment with further info, if you still see this issue with Firefox 4.0.1 or later in safe mode and/or in a new profile:
http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile
Thanks!
