User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.9.2.15) Gecko/20110303 Firefox/3.6.15 Build Identifier: Firefox 3.6.15 Hi, I am using Firefox 3.6.15 on Debian Linux, but there are many rendering problems. For example: text is too small, images are blurred, the whole feeling ist different from the Windows version of Firefox. If it is possible I can upload some sreenshots which show the problem. When I use Konqueror the rendering is much better. System Details: christian@naitsirch:~$ cat /proc/version Linux version 2.6.32-5-486 (Debian 2.6.32-30) (ben@decadent.org.uk) (gcc version 4.3.5 (Debian 4.3.5-4) ) #1 Wed Jan 12 03:28:50 UTC 2011 Best regards Christian Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to https://bankingportal.sparkasse-paderborn.de/portal/portal/login/ for example.
Are you sure you didn't accidentally zoomed the website ? Try pressing ctrl-0 (that's a zero) or View->Zoom->Reset to see if it helps.
Yes, I know this feature of Firefox, but I have tried it, before. The zoom was reseted.
Could you see if the issue occurs with a new, empty profile: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic%20Troubleshooting#w_make-a-new-profile
Version: unspecified → 1.9.2 Branch
Hi Ed, it's strange but after I created a new profile the website is rendered correctly, now. Thank you for your help. What could be the reason for this issue?
Either an addon or else corrupt (or otherwise altered) prefs. Perhaps try the old/existing profile, disable all addons, restart Firefox and see if the problem still exists. If it doesn't, then it was an addon; if it does, then it was related to prefs/the rest of the profile.
I have tried it, but no addon seems to be responsible for the problem. After deactivating all of them and restarting Firefox, the problem still occurred. I am going to mark this issue as "resolved". Thanks again.
