This meta bug will track all old GUIs in Firefox 4+. Some of 'em will be converted into ICUI, some into DH and some just need graphics upgrade.

Please note that these changes require a lot of time, so this meta bug isn't intended for concrete milestone.

What is DH?

Also, the title reads very badly, "[meta] Get rid of old GUI leftovers from UI" should perhaps be "[meta] Removal of defunct UI from pre-Firefox 4". Not sure why this bug is needed as it could've been tracked by the refresh bugs, but the title could certainly be fixed.

Sorry if posted on the wrong place but not sure about the right place

The new Download panel has loads of free chrome above & below the progress bar
why can't we use the space to provide more detail's like Speed?(which was recently removed but is very useful)
or more options like auto-clear check box or url -info?

Also there is no compact mode(if user want's to see more download in less space) mode in default large icons or using small icons

I'm not a Mozilla member but this is definitely not the right place to post this.
It is about removing old GUI from current Firefox.

I saw you also posted your request to bug 564934, which is marked as meta-issue for all the things to do for the new Download Manager UI. I guess what you should do instead is to create one (or more) new issue(s) for your suggestions and refer to 564934 in the description. So it/they can be marked as blocking that one.
