Steps to reproduce: * Open five or more tabs * Turn the phone to orient it in landscape (horizontal) * Swipe right to show the tab panel on the left Expected results: Tabs should all fit in the panel area (in this case, the layout should be 2 column not 3 column) Actual results: There are three columns of tabs and the 3rd column is cut off halfway making it difficult to click on those tabs or to click the X button to close one Fennec 5.0b6pre / Gecko 2.0b13pre / 20110305 Android 2.2 T-Mobile G2 (HTC Vision?) Using nightly version of Fennec (although this has happened for a while)

A couple of things to note here: * The steps to reproduce should be: 1. Open the tab sidebar and open 6 tabs 2. Switch to landscape mode 3. Close one of the tabs * You can horizontally scroll within the tab sidebar, but its not at all clear until a user begins scrolling it. It'd be good to show the scrollbar at onset in this scenario.

+1 bump. I also believe that it isn't clear that there is a horizontal scroll on the sidebar currently.
Summary: With more than 5 tabs in landscape view, 3rd column of tabs is obscured from view → Make tab overflow panning more discoverable
I do agree the scrollbars should be showned during a few seconds when you display something you can scroll. This will be post 4.0 for sure.
