Deleting a question_config product key (like "beta") has all sorts of unpleasant consequences. For example, the ability to edit questions refering to obsolete products without losing data requires access to those old product keys in order to determine the proper extra_fields for the form, which fields are needed to preserve metadata. We need a way of preserving obsolete product data without offering those products when prompting for new questions: a 'disabled' or 'obsolete' flag in question_config.products, for example.
We'll do this when we need to, and when we deal with the AAQ revamp.
