not much useful information to connect to a site or plugin, or addon update 

a lot of the comments assoicate with gmail, facebook, bing....

but there was this one comment

not enough to block on yet, but we probably need to figure this out before shipping to fix a problem or do some outreach.

Why is this filed in plugins, if the only data is that McAfee site advisor might be the root cause? And is this really mac-specific?

McAfee Site Advisor has been causing quite a few issues with hangs, crashes and other undesirable behaviour. See bug 637542.

This looks like a dupe of the McAffee Site Advisor bug, yes.
