User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.16 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/10.0.648.127 Safari/534.16 Build Identifier: The feature list of firefox 3.5(!) says there is a function who warn for outdated plugins (java, flash, pdf) but i never saw this! the plugins are outdated, but no warning or message. The german feature site in URL. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. surf with outdated plugins 2. nothing happens Actual Results: no update warning Expected Results: should warn for outdated plugins. this feature is in the feature-list. but where is it?
Assuming that you have Firefox 3.6. it's in the Add-Ons dialog box in the Tools menu. Go to the plugins tab, and there's a 'Find Updates' button at the bottom. It's not run automatically in Firefox 3.6 I think (or maybe only when updating), but you can always run it manually. Or you can go directly to the following URL (even works when you're using Safari, Chrome or Opera) : https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
Oh, okay. Thank you. I tought there is a warning when i run outdated plugins. A warning would be more secure for the people.
