I have seen this happen more than once, though far from always. When restarting the browser with multiple windows previously open, an occasional window will be minimized, or shrunk to the bare minimum off screen, or even worse, inaccessible. If I right click on the item in the taskbar, I get the usual popup. If I double click the item, it does not get displayed. The only way I can find to get to it is to select Maximize. This does restore the window, but then another peculiar thing happens. If I try to click on "Restore Down", which should unmaximize this and make it a smaller window, the window then vanishes. This is definitely not standard behavior in a windowing environment.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start FireFox 4
2.
3.

This does not seem like usual behavior, so I thought I should submit this report.
How often does this happen?
Are you using multiple monitors?
Do you have any addons installed?
Hmmm, it happens maybe 1 out of 7 times? Something like that.
Yes, I have two monitors (built-in for the laptop and an external).
Yes, have some addons, not a lot, though. I have disabled my addons
now, so if it happens again while using FF4 I can rule that out, or
not. Problem is that it doesn't happen enough to be able to predict
or know what to expect.

I really like FF4 outside of about 3 bugs, one of which is kind of troubling.
(A different bug which I submitted earlier today.) And I'm glad to hear it
stood up to pwn2own.
Can you list the addons and their versions? If this does not happen with your add-ons disabled, it's most likely being caused by one of them.
Resolving INCOMPLETE if requested info is not provided in the next two weeks.
