The only extension I've installed is Skype and it had already been disabled automatically. Since March 9 I'm using Fifefox4 RC
using vista trunk...while http://v8.googlecode.com/svn/data/benchmarks/v6/run.html is running/loading I do see slow UI response. I see "(not responding)", but not unresponsive script

1. load http://v8.googlecode.com/svn/data/benchmarks/v6/run.html
2. click around firefox UI (menus, tabs, etc)

UI is slow to respond. taskmanager shows huge memory swings / workingset deltas of 200MB and more.

Matti, do you also see what I report in comment 3?
Keywords: testcase
I see a slow UI during the test but the memory swings and high CPU is expected at the V8 test -> one test starts, allocates memory and uses CPU until test ends, new test starts ..... until all tests are finished.

I see no slow script warning or freeze
I would guess a slow script warning might appear with a real slow system or under OOM

A new profile could be worth a test if the system or low memory isn't the cause.

I have had so many unresponsive scripts messages whether I am on Twitter, Facebook, Youtube etc since converting to the latest Firefox version. It stops everything from working until I just give up and shut down with task manager.

Thinking of rolling back to the previous version.

I have Windows XP
Do you see this if antivirus software is disabled?
