Grace Jimenez mentioned to me that one of the Web of Wonder demos, Remixing Reality, no longer works on her machine in FF4 RC1. When she starts it up, it tells her that she doesn't have WebGL. Other WebGL demos she tried seem to work, and about:support claims that she has WebGL support along with Direct3D 10 support - though oddly, it's not using ANGLE. I tried the test with the same build of FF4 on my similar Lenovo laptop with a different GPU and it works fine.

Paul: can you forward this to the relevant Remixing Reality authors?

Let's focus this bug: we have to figure out why Grace's computer isn't using ANGLE.
Summary: Web o Wonder 'Remixing Reality' demo fails to load with message indicating that WebGL support is missing in FF4 RC1 → Not using ANGLE on (at least one) Intel computer

Oh, sorry --- I hadn't looked at about:support. Indeed, worrying.
Kevin: have you tried with a fresh new profile?
firefox -P -no-remote
What I'm specifically interested in is webgl.prefer-native-gl: if it were set to 'true', that would explain it.

Grace had webgl.prefer-native-gl turned on. *whew*
