Afterthem I get a window to report the problem and than I can close Thunderbird. When starting again, the same happens... I loose everything in this way and that's not funny !!!! Was this the recent update to Thunderbird 3.1.9 or are you talking about a different version? Also, did you report the crash so that a crash report was filed, and did you get a crash ID number? This would help.
