Yet it's so unfortunate that the problem is still persistent in every event. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Just open and browse any website and soon the problem will come about. The 5.0.0 versions of the Skype toolbar are known to cause crashes. As discussed in bug 627278 comment 8 and bug 635730, the latest versions should be much better behaved. You should either update the extension or disable it. The extension z 4.6.7.4 true {b067a160-7408-a7ae-7afc-421b3144c6b0} appears to be related to crashes as well. Do you know what extension this is? Did you intentionally install it? Disable this one as well. I'm not sure about the Yahoo! Toolbar and the Java Console versions. If upgrading Skype and disabling the z extension don't help, then disable these as well. not security sensitive.

I've already "Disabled" the "Skype extension", and so far browsing is now running smoothly. I didn't install the "z extension". In fact, I can't even find it in my "Add-ons" "Extensions" list, such just came out in the "Troubleshooting Information". I'm going to observe this for now, and if ever i get to encounter the problem again, then I'll try disabling this time the "Java Console" and "Yahoo! Toolbar". Appreciate your prompt assistance Bob, thank you.
Check out http://support.mozilla.com/hy-AM/questions/787113?page=2 where it discusses z 4.6.7.4 as an unwanted installation. Have you downloaded and installed software from third parties recently? Check Add Remove programs for anything you didn't want installed. You may be infected by malware from something you've downloaded and installed. Can you do a security scan and check for other infections? Let me know here what you find out. You can also get more help from support.mozilla.com.
True enough, I've encountered the "SKIP THIS AD" pop-up. I've already "Uninstalled" the "Contextual Tool Yourprofitclub" in the "Control Panel" and indeed the "z 4.6.7.4 extension" disappeared. Per your expertise, may i just ask as to what is the best malware program to use? Many thanks.
I think Windows 7 comes with Windows Defender. I'm not sure if Microsoft Security Essentials is a replacement for it but I've found MSE to be effective and doesn't get in the way too much. Careful what you download out there!

You're right, Windows Defender is present. Yet, it says, "Service has stopped: A problem caused this program's service to stop. To start the service, click the Start now button or restart your computer.". Unfortunately, upon clicking the said button, it says, "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. (Error Code: 0x8007422)". Would you have any idea about this? I've already downloaded the following suggested by "cor-el" in the Fiefox Help Forum, though i haven't installed them yet: * http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php - Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware * http://www.superantispyware.com/ - SuperAntispyware * http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/defender/default.mspx - Windows Defender: Home Page * http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html - Spybot Search & Destroy * http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php - Ad-Aware Free I've also downloaded the Microsoft Security Essentials as you've suggested, but haven't installed it yet as well.
Now i know why Windows Defender service has stopped, it's because I have "avast! Pro Antivirus" already running. Hope with such I'll get the needed protections. Thank you for the assistance Bob Clary. Have a nice day!
