When performing an in-page search (CTRL+F) and the query found is inside a link and the link is displayed at the very bottom of the browser, the link destination popup shown may overlay the search word (and link altogether).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open http://my-serve.rs/tmp/search_result_hidden_by_link_overlay/
2. Press CTRL+F (open find in page dialog at the bottom)
3. Enter "findme"
4. Press ESC
5. Press F3
Actual Results:  
A link with the word "findme" is found, positioned at the bottom the viewport. Since it's a link the link destination also at the bottom is automatically shown and hides the link with the found term.

Expected Results:  
Do not hide the search result and the link inside the page

Whether the found term and the link are not visible depends on many factors:
- length of the destination URL
- position of the link on the page itself
- position of the search term with in the link
- possible others

I encountered this problem on web shopping sites, search for something which was part of a link with a long URL and the link was placed on the left side of the viewport (afaik currently the link destination popup has a max-width of 50% or so I've read in Bug 632634).

just clarifying: 
Bug 631270 moved the status/link panel from left to right in case of open find bar. It did not really fix the problem.
This should be done in a followup bug, which is bug 640132
