User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Even I run Firefox with a blank tab and no other thing, still Memory Use for Firefox is 119,264K and for plugin-container is 12,345K, though I didn't open any flash or other video except a blank tab running no other extension. Whenever I run firefox my CPU fan creates a lot of noise. Reproducible: Always

yes fresh profile. Windows XP Professional SP3 Intel P4 3GHz, 512 MB RAM,
On a fresh profile with a blank page, I don't get the plugin-container. Reporter, can you please try this in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe%20Mode
Today I saw that Plugin containter is not there with blank page even in normal mode but memory usage is 53,345K
I think a value around that is expected. I am getting a usage of 57,300K on a fresh new profile.
