Expected Results: No image for Stop button is displayed.

Have you removed the stop button from the toolbar? Have you tried resetting your toolbar to the default set? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Back%20and%20forward%20or%20other%20toolbar%20items%20are%20missing
