User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.15) Gecko/20110303 Firefox/3.6.15 SearchToolbar/1.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.15) Gecko/20110303 Firefox/3.6.15 SearchToolbar/1.2 Downloaded latest version of Firefox last week. The unwanted images and messages do not appear when using Explorer -- only when using Firefox. The usual "x" that allows you to delete items is not present on these entries. Changed password on Facebook already because I thought it had been hacked. Reproducible: Sometimes Expected Results: Security should be heightened so that my page cannot be taken over, Sorry if this is not the proper forum to discuss this issue. Don't know where else to turn. Thank you.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.16pre) Gecko/20110314 Namoroka/3.6.16pre Works fine for me. Please try if it works fine in safe mode or try by creating a new profile. https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles#Creating_a_profile.
Unfortunately, we can't do anything for you in regards to your Facebook account allegedly being hacked. However, we can help you investigate why items could be deleted in Explorer and not Firefox. After trying what Aravind suggests in comment 1, please see if this happens with Firefox 4.0rc1: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/4.0rc1-candidates/build1/win32/en-US/ By the way, sorry to hear if your facebook account has been hacked. Unfortunately, there is nothing Firefox can do about that -- you should contact Facebook support.
Thank you for your help. I appreciate the suggestions. By the way, in Explorer the unwanted posts don't even appear. That's why I'm thinking it is related to firefox somehow. I am not a tech, just a user, so I will get some help with implementation. Thanks again.
What version of Internet Explorer are you using? Is there any add-ons installed in Explorer that might help to block these posts? Can you reproduce this in the recently released Firefox 4.0?
Summary: In Facebook, pornographic images and messages are posted when using firefox that are not visible when using Explorer. The images and messages are not able to be deleted. → Pornographic Facebook posts are blocked in Explorer, not in Firefox
The smut first appeared after a download of Firefox, but can't remember if it was the download of 4.0, or an update to it. However, downloaded most recent update and it is fine now. My FB is working great. Thanks to everybody.
