Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.15) Gecko/20110303 Firefox/3.6.15 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.15) Gecko/20110303 Firefox/3.6.15 When I've stored a login for the username 'test' via password manager and want to login on the same site using the username 'Test' (i.e. no change but the uppercase 'T' instead of the lowercase 't'), I can change the username in the text field but as soon as it loses focus it changes to the saved one - so without deleting the saved password it is impossible to submit the form with a differently-cased username. This is unrelated to site-specific issues; it happens on all sites no matter if they are using JavaScript or not. Deleting the username from password manager always fixes it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to some simple page with a login form containing username and password fields 2. submit it with username 'Test', save the password 3. go back to the form, try to submit it using the username 'test' Actual Results: The username changes back to 'Test' as soon as the username field loses focus Expected Results: The username stays in the way I've entered it as I obviously intended to use the lowercase version - I manually edited the pre-filled username!
