I've check and firefox process is running but I've got nothing on the screen. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.set up incorrect proxy settings for the system (on ubuntu) 2.restart your system so that firefox was never launch 3.start firefox using the menu entry Actual Results: firefox doesn't display the main window. You can check using 'pas aux | grep firefox' that the firefox process is running Expected Results: at step 4, firefox should display the main window and present the usual error page when you're not connected to the internet. I'm using firefox-4.0 package from the mozilla daily build ppa. My computer is a macbook pro 7,1 running ubuntu 10.10 x64.
