The browser addon needed a restart of the browser and the restart was done. After a browser restart the download manager couldn't resume the paused download. There was no question for username and password. Following this foreknowledge of problem I was opening another tab to load the password-protected FTP-site. As expected it appeared the login dialog and I entered username (gpl) and password (download). After entering my login details I changed to the downloads tab and tried to resume the download manually. It finally worked out. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a password-protected FTP-site 2. Start downloading of a file from this site 3. Restart browser 4. Resume the paused download Actual Results: Error Expected Results: Continue downloading the file
