Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 (RC2)
When I was checking the change password of the Sync feature I noticed that the warning message was displayed in the bottom of the screen. This is inconsistent with the other warning messages in the FF 4 (i.e. PopUp Blocker message)
STR:
1. SYNC 2 PC using the Firefox sync feature
2. Change the password on one of the PC
3. SYNC the other PC
Actual:
An Error message appears on the bottom of the screen
(See Screenshot)
Expected:
A doorhanger or a message on the top of the page is displayed.
Note:
The user would observe the message easier if the error would be on top of the screen.

This is intentional, they're different kinds of notifications. I think there are plans to re-do the sync notifications entirely.

The bar at the bottom is intended. A doorhanger needs an anchor and the bars at the top of the browser are tab specific. The Sync bar at the bottom, however, stay even when you switch between tabs.
There might be plans to revamp this in some distant version of Firefox, but I haven't seen any concrete mockups.
