Kairo indicated there was a fast rising crash on 3.6.15. https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?signature=WCIDEngine%400x4ac74 to the crashes. This was found using his explosive crash report.

https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/9e524915-eef6-4e8f-95b4-8e2772110316 is a sample crash.

Seems to be somewhat correlated to Norton Confidential Toolbar - {29dd9c80-9ea1-4aaf-9305-a0314aba24e3}. Is it possible that Norton made some kind of change recently that is just affecting PPC users?

According to http://test.kairo.at/socorro/2011-03-17.explosiveness.html this started 2011-03-15 with 57 (throttled) crashes, had 131 on 16th and 147 yesterday. If Norton/Symantec made a release on 15th, this would correlate well. And, as Marcia indicated, those are all on Mac PPC.

I'm marking this bug as WORKSFORME as bug crashlog signature didn't appear from a long time (over half year) in Firefox.
