Reporter do you have a second screen plugged in and does Firefox run not on the main screen?
It is an iMac (model iMac8,1) connected to a Dell monitor (model E228WFP). Firefox is running on the second monitor.

Is the primary screen on the right side and you are trying to open a new window on the left screen?
Version: unspecified → 4.0 Branch
Yes the primary screen is on the right side (the iMac) and the extended monitor is on the left. I am trying to open a new window on the left screen.
