Note: This happens on a new and old profile.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download and install Fennec 1.1 from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/1.1/maemo/multi/dists/fremantle/release/binary-armel/
2. Open Fennec 1.1 release.
3. Download and install Fennec 4.0 RC from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/candidates/4.0rc1-candidates/build3/maemo5-gtk/multi/
4. Open Fennec 4.0 RC candidate.

Actual Results:
The browser window pops up, but is broken on first run: the tab sidebar is popped out, content window is blank, there is a large space on the left of the urlbar. When re-opening Fennec, the firstrun experience works for fine.

Expected Results:
The browser window starts up fine and the UI is not broken.
