User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0

It would appear that when you right click on a link the options for open in new tab and open in new window have been reversed. While not a huge issue, I use it extensively and have been making a lot of mistakes. Not sure this was intended.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Right click on link
2.Order of menu options has changed.
3.
Actual Results:
I ended up in a new window instead of a new tab
Its an intentional change from bug 316473.

That's an intended change in Firefox 4 which has been implemented by bug 322736.

Intended change then i will not be using FF 4 till this bug is fixed or the option to adjust the context menu items is implemented.
I don't want to be mean or anything but the "enhancement" should have been applied back in 2006 and although logical is very annoying and some means could be provided as a transition for users like myself who are still using 3.6 versions alongside with 4.0.

Using both versions every day means I end with new windows very often and is very distracting and is a valid reason for me to go back to 3.6 for a while until the dust settles.

I hope you can do something about it.
Sorry Luis I meant to include this link to a restartless extension that does what you want when I duped your bug:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/legacy-link-context-menu/

I'll also put it in the URL field for others to find easier. Another workaround without an extension is to edit the userChrome.css file as described at

Thank you, it's very kind from you. I'll be trying both ways tomorrow.
