Fixed positioning no longer seems to work for the simple test case in the
Zvong.org CSS2 tutorial.
Also try the samples/Test12.html
http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/webshell/tests/viewer/samples/test12.html
These used to work in previous versions.

In which Mozilla build did you see this?
How should your fist test case be rendered?
I don't know what's wrong with that because I don't know that tutorial.
Since that is an XML file, maybe the correct component would be XML?
And your second example test12.html works fine for me with build 2001010420 on
winNT4.
Thanks for the testing, but please consider using the Bugzilla helper for
reporting bugs next time.

Fixed positioning is disabled in N6 and Moz 0.6; but works in recent builds.
What build were you using?

CSS2 Fixed positioning WORKS with these same URLs with last night's
(05 Jan 2001) Win32 nightly build.

I was using Mozilla 0.6/Win32 on NT 4.0+SP6
Sorry for false alarm!
(Will use the bug reported helper next time; I'd thought that the Moz version
was being sent along with the bug posting.)

Netscape's standard compliance QA team reorganised itself once again, so taking
remaining non-tables style bugs. Sorry about the spam. I tried to get this done
directly at the database level, but apparently that is "not easy because of the
shadow db", "plus it screws up the audit trail", so no can do...
