Ran into a problem with a missing bookmarks toolbar chevron. Went to look for Safe Mode to check it out with no extensions. No directory containing Safe Mode, despite telling Firefox I wanted an icon installed on the Startup menu. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Upgrade install fx4. 2. Look for program folder 3. Actual Results: No program folder. Expected Results: Should have been a program folder. Told installation I did not want a desktop icon (option for Quick Launch icon not present).

"Hold the shift key while starting Firefox will start the safemode" If I who have been using this browser since it was Phoenix 0.35 in October 2002 do not know of this trick, how should a general user know? This follows in the tradition of Firefox, and it is a very bad tradition. The directory was easy to find and the Safe Mode shortcut was a fairly explicit parallel to Windows Safe Mode. Also, the term "Safe Mode" is fairly self-explanatory. I guess you guys never heard of "belt and suspenders." Microsoft user interfaces are better than this: there are nearly always many ways to do a job. Foolish decision.
