User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0

Everytime when I open (and close) the "Customize"-window (sorry, if the term isn't correct since I use the German version; in German it's "Anpassen") e.g. in order to change the Firefox buttons/symbols, the field of the search bar is emptied.

I don't know if this is intended since this behaviour was already in former version (3.x) but I'd appreciate if this could be fixed/changed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type in anything in the search bar.
2. Open the "Customize"-window (in German you can access it via "Ansicht -> Symbolleisten -> Anpassen")
3. The the "Customize"-window.
Actual Results:
Search bar field is cleared

Expected Results:
Search bar field contains last input
Confirmed. Lets get some feedback from UX.

Summary: Search bar is cleared when I open (and close) the Customize-window → Content of search bar gets cleared when entering toolbar customization
Version: unspecified → Trunk
Version: Trunk → 1.9.1 Branch
I err think "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/4.0" isn't on the 1.9.1 branch.
Version: 1.9.1 Branch → Trunk
Read closely comment 0. This is clearly reproducible even in Shiretoko.
Version: Trunk → 1.9.1 Branch
The 1.9.1 branch is restricted to security and stability fixes though.
That has absolutely nothing to do with the version field which is used in Toolkit to show the first affected version of Firefox.
Severity: minor → S4
