With Firefox 4 the status bar becomes a "complement bar". It then adds floating text and urls over that at either side of the window, despite the complement bar having plenty of space.

Expected results: It should use the complement bar if it is open and has available space.

The Status-4-Evar addon works as a workaround, but this should nonetheless be fixed in Firefox itself http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=2001965
