User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 I have "Open new window in new tab" checked in Options as the default. Last night, after installing FF 4.0, it would instead default to opening new windows unless I specifically selected "open in new tab" in the context window. Today, I deselected "Open new window in new tab" and after a few minutes went back and reselected it. Now, FF4.0 is opening the newly selected URL as a tab but not as a new tab. It's opening it in the tab with current focus. I hope this info will be helpful. The way it worked in FF 3.5 was perfect. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. (Problem seems to be variable; see above Details). 2. 3. Expected Results: "Open new window in new tab" selected as default results in new-URL "Open" selections appearing in a new tab, with the focus shifted to there, every time. The way it was in FF 3.5, IOW.
