Applying the update to v3.6.16 from v3.6.15 the process fails and becomes caught in a fail loop repeatedly trying to install and failing - "make sure no other copies of Firefox are running - close Firefox and try again" has no effect when carried out. Even a System reboot doesn't help! Same result on all 3 computers!

Please attach (using the 'Add an attachment' link above) the following files which can be located with a default install as follows:
for Windows Vista and above type the following in the Start Menu search box and press return.
%LOCALAPPDATA%
Then navigate to \Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\
for Windows prior to Windows Vista type the following in the Start Menu -> run box and press return.
%USERPROFILE%
Then navigate to \Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\
active-update.xml
navigate to the updates subdirectory
last-update.log and backup-update.log
navigate to the 0 subdirectory under updates
update.status and if present update.log
