644465 - after addons remove ,the addons still in firefox

  I install Firefox/4.0,then i wanna remove an addons.
I'm not disable the addons first,click the remove button only.Then i restart firefox,i found the addons not going away.but in about:addons,this button only has restart and undo.i click undo.no response.I uninstall firefox and reinstall again,it still like this.
Finally,i'm going to my folder:'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\hfq4i73t.default\extensions' and delete these xpi file,and restart firefox. OK this time is good.

It has nothing to do with your Firefox install, so reinstalling won't help. The issue is your user profile. Run "firefox.exe -P" and try making a new one.

Yes,then i won't delete other addons,so i found and deleted the xpi file which i don't liked one.
Thanks firefox.exe -P,i will try it later.

Reporter, please can you confirm whether this issue still occurs using Firefox 4.0.1 (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/new/) or higher, in Firefox safe mode (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode) and/or with a clean profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile). Ideally, also check using the latest nightly: http://nightly.mozilla.org/

If this issue no longer occurs, please close as "Resolved Worksforme".

It it in fact still occurs, please provide as much extra information as possible, including what versions tried, whether safe mode/new profile tested etc. Thanks! :-)
