Could you see if the issue occurs if using Firefox in safe mode:
http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
Component: General → Firefox Sync: UI
Product: Firefox → Mozilla Services
QA Contact: general → sync-ui
Hardware: x86_64 → x86

Hmm, it looks like it doesn't happen any more (both safe mode and regular mode). Earlier today, I uninstalled the Sync add-on (had it from an earlier version of Firefox) to fix another bug with Sync options (bug #644478, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=644478). I think that fixed this issue as well.
Thanks, you can close.
