Hi,
I have a big problem when I try to view this video file :
http://vimeo.com/21216091
I can't watch the video because it's lagging. The lag is cause by the very high CPU usage of plugin-container.exe (almost 100% on a dual core). I don't have any problem with other video files like youtube, etc.
I think there is something wrong with plugin-container.exe
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://vimeo.com/21216091
2. Press PLAY to watch the video file
Actual Results:
The plugin-container.exe process uses almost all the CPU and this causes the video file to lag.
Expected Results:
Watch the video file with no lag.
Even if HD is turned OFF, the CPU usage is high (around 50%).

Could you see if the issue occurs if using Firefox in safe mode:
http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
How about with a new, empty testing profile? (Don't install any addons into it)
http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile
Component: General → Plug-ins
Product: Firefox → Core
QA Contact: general → plugins
Version: unspecified → Trunk
The problem occurs in safe mode and with a empty profile also.

What version of flash are you using? (see about:plugins)
Shockwave Flash
File : NPSWF32.dll
Version : 10.2.152.32
Shockwave Flash 10.2 r152

The latest version is 10.2.153.1, can you try that please. You can update to it (and check other plugins) via here:
http://www.mozilla.com/plugincheck/
Shockwave Flash Updated
File : NPSWF32.dll
Version : 10.2.153.1
Shockwave Flash 10.2 r153
Same results. The CPU usage is around 100% in HD and 50% not in HD.

Reporter, please can you confirm whether this issue still occurs using Firefox 4.0.1 (http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/new/) or higher, in Firefox safe mode (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode) and/or with a clean profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile). Ideally, also check using the latest nightly: http://nightly.mozilla.org/
If this issue no longer occurs, please close as "Resolved Worksforme".
It it in fact still occurs, please provide as much extra information as possible, including what versions tried, whether safe mode/new profile tested etc. Thanks! :-)
