Reproduce: 1. Doubleclick on a msg 2. Try to View Source of the msg 3. Try to Edit Msg as New 4. Try to delete msg 5. Try the same in the 3pane Actual results: 2.: View Source is grey out. 3., 4.: Command fails silently. 5.: works Expected results: 2.-4. and 5. match. Additional comments: This is a regression, but I don't know when it happened. I know that Delete fails since some time (a month?) already, at least intermittendly (don't remmeber exactly). Works fine with 0.6.

ben, what happens when you click in the body area of the stand alone message window? do any of these commands start working or become enabled? I just noticed that on a stand alone message window, a lot of buttons and toolbars are disable until I click in the body. I'll go log that bug. the stand alone message window work.

Hakan, not for me, build 20010603 still shows the problem. Most users will think that the mentioned commands are simply broken. Note that no keybindings work either. This means that I cannot read my mail with the keyboard only in the standalone, because Accel-W (close) doesn't work. So, this bug is also an accessability problem (controlling which messages load in the msg pane of the 3pane with keyboard only is very hard, so the standalone is the best solution for accessability, if it worked).

Build 2001-05-31-04: WinMe Build 2001-05-31-08: Mac 9.04 Results without clicking into the body of the message: 2. Try to View Source of the msg (the View|Message Source menu item is still greyed out and does not work, yet Ctrl+U seems to work) 3. Try to Edit Msg as New (the menu item and Ctrl+E seem to work) Build 2001-05-30-08: Linux RH 6.2 For items 2 and 3 I have to select the body of the message for the access keys to work Build 2001-05-31-04: WinMe Build 2001-05-31-08: Mac 9.04 Build 2001-05-30-08: Linux RH 6.2 4. The Delete access key does not work, not even when I click into the body of the messsage.

Should I verify only on trunk? The problem still presents on recent branch build for Stand Alone window. View|Message Source menu item is greyed out - does not work, yet Ctrl+U - works. You can Not delete message. But you can edit it as new.
