I have a recurring meeting where the sender has set it up to be the 2nd Thursday of the month. Zimbra gets it right, but Lightning shows the event for me on every Thursday of the month. These extraneous events show-up in my daily calendar every Thursday such as today. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a notification e-mail that sets up a meeting on the 2nd thursday of the month 2.Accept the invitation via Thunderbird/Lightning 3.View calendar in Lightning Actual Results: Event shows up on all Thursdays of every month Expected Results: Should have only shown events on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Using thunderbird-lightning.i686 0:1.0-0.39.b3pre.fc14 rpm on Fedora. If the problem is Fedora-only, I will resubmit.

Lightning can handle repeating events like 2nd Thursday of each month, you can create them in Lightning yourself. Most probably the event uses a different recurrence rule. Please copy/export the event to the iCalendar event to allow checking the RRULE property.

Please copy/export > the event to the iCalendar event to allow checking the RRULE property. I have provided the .ics file for the invite. I cleared the UID and DESCRIPTION fields, but the RRULE is there.

> RRULE:FREQ=MONTHLY;INTERVAL=1;BYDAY=TH;BYSETPOS=2 BYSETPOS is not supported -> duplicate of Bug 322458. If you want to create a repeating event on the 2nd Thursday of each month you can use simpler rules like RRULE:FREQ=MONTHLY;BYDAY=2TH
