Details

User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6.6; U; en) Presto/2.8.119 Version/11.10 Build Identifier: Fennec seems to assume high-DPI screen on Samsung Galaxy Player (http://www.samsung.com/galaxyplayer50/), however the device has 240px wide 3.2" screen. As a result, everything in Fennec is ridiculously huge. Left bar with tabs takes more than half of the screen. Whole URL bar can only fit "http:…" (and nothing more!) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Fennec beta on Samsung Galaxy Player 2. Open it 3. Actual Results: Everything is huge: UI, pages. Expected Results: Everything should be half the size.
Player runs Eclair (apparently non-upgradeable)
240px is below our current minimum requirements, iirc. Fennec should attempt to render itself at a consistent size on any device, as long as the device reports the DPI correctly, For example, Fennec renders fine on the Droid Pro.
Fennec renders fine on the Droid 2, Samsung Galaxy S Captivate, Htc Desire Z.. weiruwoer, can you still reproduce this issue? Or maybe someone else, having a Samsung Galaxy Player could confirm it too.
The author of the issue has not followed up with the necessary information is several months. Closing as Incomplete.
