644866 - Sync Settings Migrated and Enabled Despite Being Uninstalled

I had tried Sync in FF 3.x and did not like it. Since there is no way to disable Sync I uninstalled the extension. After upgrading to FF4 all of the Sync preferences from FF 3.x were imported and now Sync is trying to connect and I don't want to use it.

Perhaps:

1) First disable sync on FF4, by selecting deactivate this device.
2) Then login to https://account.services.mozilla.com/ and delete your account altogether

Not-an-expert here, but that's what I would do. If it helps let me know pls

I'm using the Greek version of Firefox. It should be in the Firefox Options -> Sync Tab.

Thanks for the tip. It works to disable. I suppose I can just disable it that way and create a new account every time I want to sync.
