When you go to delete a file that you have attached in a reply, all you have to do is click on the delete icon and it is gone. It is very easy to accidentally click that button on smaller images. There should be some sort of confirmation before the attachment is permanently deleted.

Verified able to delete/cancel delete before and after posting to forum- all delete options generate a confirmation message.
