User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 I have my Google homepage open (google ig) and i use google talk client. I am not signed into the chat part of google ig but when using the google talk client the chat window is opened like i am signed in. This never happened on previous versions of firefox, only when i upgraded to 4. It is like i am actually signed in and firefox wont sign me out although it says i am. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a google ig (google homepage) page 2. Start a chat using google talk client Actual Results: You will see the google chat window open in firefox with your chat history Expected Results: The chat window should not open as im not signed into the chat part
Could you see if the issue occurs if using Firefox in safe mode: http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode How about with a new, empty testing profile? (Don't install any addons into it) http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile
