User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 I cannot reproduce this, it just happens sometimes. Sometimes it happens when im still using Firefox, other times its when i havent used it for a couple mins. New tabs open themselves with the title of another open tab and these new tabs are just blank pages. Sometimes it'll just be 1 of the open tabs, other times it can be more than 1 of them. Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Expected Results: Tabs should not open themselves
Could you see if the issue occurs if using Firefox in safe mode: http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode How about with a new, empty testing profile? (Don't install any addons into it) http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#w_8-make-a-new-profile

works for me on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.2a1pre) Gecko/20110331 Firefox/4.2a1pre
WFM Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Looks like you are using firefox 64bits, which isn't supported (yet) by mozilla AFAIK. Does this happen too when using 32bits version of firefox 4?
Im using the 32bit version of firefox, im just on the 64bit version of windows 7. This problem has stopped by itself now, no idea how or why, i didnt change anything!
