Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Right click on Tab bar or menu bar. 2.Check Tabs on top and deselect Menu bar options. 3.Double click on tab bar to open a new blank tab. Actual Results: Window gets restored. Expected Results: Open a new blank tab. Since this OS related, its better to provide new tab icon(plus symbol) in tab bar to avoid confusion.

Mahesh, there is already a Plus symbol right next to the tab. Check once again and if you didn't get it try creating a new profile https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles#Creating_a_profile
Dao, how is it related to bug 575248?
The reporter has tabs on top, bug 575248 is about tabs on bottom.

By creating new profile, able to see new tab icon(plus symbol). As I already mentioned in the note, double click on title bar is related to OS operation and I believe that Mozilla does not change OS related operations, I was expecting plus icon.
