downloading update, never stops, have no idea what to do

I'm moving this to the right component and the developer should request some logs.

Try quitting Firefox and trying again. If it still doesn't work change the
preference on the General view for Downloads to "Always ask where to save
files". Then try to download the Firefox from http://firefox.com and make a
note of the url that the download is offered from. Then try to download. Post
in this bug what the results from performing the above were.
