This appears to be unique to FF; IE and WebKit appear to fire these events even IME is in uncommitted state. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use IME: Microsoft Pinyin New Experience Input Style 2. Type some text but do not commit 3. Press CTRL+B Actual Results: No keydown event fired Expected Results: Keydown event fired
