User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 Build Identifier: 4.0 If a user is on the default cc list for a component, and is then disabled (ie by setting disabled_text for that user profile), any subsequent bug raised against that component will add the disabled user onto the CC list during bug creation (even though it's impossible to manually add the same user to a bug). The user has to be removed after the bug is raised. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set user onto default cc list for a component. 2. Disable user in (1) 3. Add bug into component - disabled user is added to cc list during bug creation. Actual Results: User added to CC list for bug. Expected Results: User not added to CC list. It's also impossible to remove the user from the default cc list without first re-enabling the user, removing them from the default list for the component, and then disabling the user again (or doing it in the backend database).

Being able to add/remove disabled accounts to the CC list is expected, so this is not a bug. We do this all the time with accounts being a mailing-list. Also, it's untrue that you cannot add or remove a user from the default CC list if the user account is disabled. What won't work is the autocompletion, as desired, but you can still type the whole address email, and Bugzilla will accept it if this account exists, disabled or not.

I have the same problem with Bz 4.2. I would accept to manually remove the blocked user from the CC lists, but I dont see an easy way to do that for all components. In fact I can not even see on which components the user is default-CCed.
(In reply to Bernd Eckenfels from comment #2) > I can not even see on which components the user is default-CCed. When editing a user account via editusers.cgi (available for members of the "editusers" group), "Product responsibilities" at the bottom lists for which components a user is set as "Default CC".
