Does it work without fireftp and the normal integrated FTP function ?
You have to provide example URLs is not and report it to the fireftp developer if it works without the extension.
If I enter the URL ftp://jpringle.mynas200.com in the FF address bar it works fine. If I set up FireFTP to use this, I get the weird duplicate false directories and no files listed. If I click on one of the false directory listings I get error 451: "No such file or directory". I have tried using Windows Explorer to FTP the site and it also works fine. I am stumped. Thanks for your help.

Please report it to the fireftp developers. They can and should file a bug if they think that this is a Gecko bug. Only they can provide more information about what they are doing in their addon
