I'm actually not getting a context menu, while long tapping on the link. Why shouldn't the context menu appear for javascript: links?

This is intentional, so that JavaScript "bookmarklets" like the ones at https://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/ can be added to the Fennec bookmarks. See bug 637031. Desktop Firefox also allows "Bookmark link" from the context menu on JavaScript links. I can see that this can sometimes lead to unexpected results, but I'm not sure how to avoid it without breaking the intended feature.

Ah, ok, I had an older build, that's why it didn't work, long tapping on the link in the testcase.
