Details

1.- Go to google
2.- Tab to focus search button 
3.- query caretOffset (from a script or mochitest, not DOMi or accerciser as no caret would be returned if window is not active)

and then you get caretOffset = characterCount (that is, caret at the end of the text).

For those focused elements, we should return -1
I don't know why I filled this twice, but the later one have a nice test case, so closing this.
